PhD Scholarship in the Institute of Lifelong Learning
PhD Scholarship in the Institute of Lifelong Learning is for full or part time study, and will cover tuition fees for the duration of study and a contribution of up to £10,000 over the course of study for research expenses.
Applications are invited for a PhD Scholarship for a study in one of the following areas:
a. Risk, Crisis, Disaster Management; Emergency Planning Management
b. Popular Culture and Spirituality
c. Counselling and Psychotherapy: Clinical Supervision
Scholarship requirements:
Applicants should have already completed a Masters Degree in a relevant subject.
This Scholarship is only available to candidates who are eligible to pay the Home/EU tuition fee, i.e. permanently resident in the UK or another EU country.
Closing date for application: 1st November 2009.
Applications should be submitted as soon as possible using the PHD Postgraduate Application Form (pdf file). Completed forms should be submitted to the Admissions Office, together with a detailed research proposal.
Please ensure that you write the following information on page 3 of the Postgraduate Application Form, to ensure that your application is forwarded to Lifelong Learning for consideration:
“Application for LILL PhD Scholarship” at the top; and
“Institute of Lifelong Learning” in the box labelled “Department (for taught courses and research degrees)”
