USA - Wake Forest University Postdoc Position in Ion Channel Regulation

A postdoctoral position is available in Dr. Dwayne Godwin’s lab in the Department of Neurobiology to study molecular and cellular signaling cascades in the brain regulating ion channel expression and function. The position will focus on signal transduction and its role in regulating ion channel physiology in several disease models. This a unique, 2 year appointment that is jointly sponsored by industry with the opportunity for significant collaboration on a number of cutting edge projects, including epilepsy and visual neurophysiology.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D and a strong background in molecular and cell biology to complement a multidisciplinary team, as well as evidence of productivity in the form of peer reviewed publications.
