Scholarship Description:Applications are invited for a graduate student position (PhD or MS-PhD integrated course) in the lab of Prof. Kyu Hyun at Pusan National University (PNU) in South Korea. Our main research focuses on complex fluids or soft matter systems e.g. polymer melt and solution, blockcopolymer, suspension, emulsions under various deformations (steady shear, oscillatory shear, extensional, and squeezing flow). We study complex fluids using normal rheometer and rheo-optics (Rheo-SALS, Rheo-SAXS). However, the person who is interested in complex fluid will be welcomed.
Candidates should have prior experience in the area of “Rheology, Polymer, or soft matter related fields”. Approximately 900,000 Korean Won/month will be supported.
