Scholarship Description: For deserving, graduating seniors from Taylor High School who have participated in any varsity (sport or sports) for two or more years at the high school; who have maintained a 7.00 or higher grade point average on a 12 point scale; who are or will be attending any accredited college, university, trade school or other post-secondary training; who are deserving of financial assistance and likely to succeed as students at a college, university, trade school, or in other postsecondary
training. The scholarship criteria is as follows:
(1) superior work ethic;
(2) high moral character;
(3) excellent mental attitude;
(4) participation in any varsity (sport or sports) for two or more years at the high school; and
(5) have maintained a 7.00 or higher grade point average on a 12 point scale.
The scholarships may be renewed during the student’s sophomore year of undergraduate studies, subject to review by the scholarship committee and the availability of sufficient funds.
